Purpose:
Performs Operational Readiness mission and resource management in support of Army Preposition Stock (APS). Managing Fleet Readiness of up to the Battalion level quantity maintaining Ready for Issue and Configure for Combat (CfC) standards in accordance with Army Regulations. Interpreting Modernized Table of Equipment (MTOE) and Modernized Configuration of Equipment (MCoE) to meet APS standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Reports directly to the Supply Manager, provides analysis based logistical standardization to provide prepositioned fleet management oversight and analysis based logistical standardization to contractual requirements.
2. Responsible for ensuring the all logistical oversight of up to a Company level
3. May be required to work independently, or with a team.
4. May be required to maintain responsive interface directly with USG customer to ensure mission requirements and expectations are met.
5. Required to conduct direct counseling and appraisals of personnel periodically to ensure required qualifications are retained.
6. Handles multiple operations simultaneously and provides updated status on cost, schedule and mission performance.
7. Manages prepositioned stock fleet in accordance with Army Regulations and contractual requirements
8. Ensure specific mission/project benchmark goals are identified and attained.
9. Responsible for planning, coordinating with and briefing up to BN level command and staff.
10. Partner in the development of Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-2 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements and issue plans IAW contract requirements.
11. Track and analyze Taskers, operational activities and department metrics.
12. Plan and coordinate multiple mission requirements including APS Set R1 & S1 Readiness levels.
13. Assist with the sustainment program through operational analysis, planning, maintenance & readiness reporting.
14. Serve as the liaison between all functional departments to achieve a cohesive result.
15. Disseminate mission guidance for all operations/taskers.
16. Developed and implemented strategic initiatives to continually improve the overall quality of the maintenance program.
17. Develop, manage, monitor, action and produce Operational Concepts of Support in support of mission or unit issues.
18. Coordinated oversight of Readiness Control Analysis to sustain direct communication with all supporting Material Readiness Center and Logistics Operation Center sections to achieve benchmark goals.
19. Analyze historical data, monitoring performance benchmarks and developing performance continuous improvement programs in the functional area.
20. Identifying ONS, Taskers, prioritizing, assigning responsibility, resourcing, managing and monitoring their implementation of processes based on PWS requirements.
21. Developing and publishing weekly Operational Readiness reports utilizing required Army Regulations and PWS requirements.
22. Implemented and improved the current processes and procedures to include new tracking methodologies.
23. Responsible for Monitoring all MTOE, MCoE and WRSI stocks and configurations being actioned by the functional areas IAW PWS and ARs.
24. Conduct Research from Data entered into AWRDS to ensure all discrepancies are properly identified and corrected.
25. Evaluated MWO’s / SOUMS / GPA’s for accuracy and discrepancies and ensured outstanding messages are corrected with the appropriate recommended actions.
26. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
27. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
28. 8 years of related civilian or military experience required.
29. 5 years supervisory experience required.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
30. Must have the ability to interpret and implement local policies.
31. Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook.
32. Must have progressive written and oral communications skills.
33. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
34. Possess the capability to use appropriate logistics LIS systems such as: GCSS Army, LMP and LIW.
Certification, License & Clearance:
35. Citizenship required.
36. Must have or be able to obtain a Passport
37. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
38. Secret Clearance is required.
Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
39. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
40. Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
41. Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
42. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
43. Army Logistics MOS preferred.
44. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management or equivalent highly preferred. 4 additional years of experience over minimum required can be substituted for degree.
