About the Role & Team
In this role you'llbe part of the GSAHR team and will offer senior HR business partnering and HR leadership support to various lines of businesses, driving and enabling the delivery of our people strategy and helping the departments to deliver against their strategic objectives.Acting as an HR Generalist, you'll be working hands-on, following through strategic and operational projects and initiatives as and when needed.
Critical to the success of the position is managing a professional, effective and proactive relationship with the business by understanding their key business drivers and priorities and providing an effective collaboration with regional Centers of Excellence to help the achievement of these.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week in our Munich office.
What You Will Do
1. Lead, empower and deliver our local people strategy working in collaboration with your HR colleagues, Center of Excellence teams within EMEAand your business teams/client groups.
2. Be an active member of your business function's leadership team, proactively driving the HR agenda and provide support on business initiatives
3. A key focus of the role is to have a sound understanding of how the business operates, the key business challenges, drivers, financials as well as staying current on industry trends and technology developments
4. Using your affinity for commercial thinking, contribute to the local strategy and the Annual Operating Planning process planning
5. Handle expectations and ensure the client (internal and external) receives an outstanding service in an appropriate, timely and proactive manner.
6. Proactively engage with the Centers of Excellence to acquire specialist advice and facilitate quality adding solutions to the business functions.
7. Pro-actively manage annual HR processes with the business and Centers of Excellence, for example annual compensation planning, talent and succession planning, performance management, organisational change management, learning and development.
8. Manage headcount together with the Finance team and partner with the Talent Acquisition team
Required Qualifications & Skills
9. Proven track record of managing client relationships with significant experienceoperating at HR Business Partner level and managing clients at Director level and above
10. Demonstrable multi-discipline Human Resources experience, both operational and strategic
11. Confident in change management/organisational development experience including restructure, redundancy, TUPE, settlement agreements and redeployment
12. Profound background in compensation & benefits (salary planning, comp analysis, bonus planning, benefits management)
13. Sound understanding of German labour law and best practices
14. Evident experience of multi-national, fast-paced, progressive corporate matrixedorganisations
15. Excellent interpersonal, communication and people leadership skills, you'll be a fast and effective relationship builder across all levels
16. Demonstrable experience of grasping issues quickly and delivering effective and efficient solutions
17. Ability to adopt a consultant style approach to the role and HR business partnering
18. Well-organised and a real self-starter, you'll need to manage multiple projects/relationships simultaneously and autonomously
19. Familiar with relevant HR tools and computer literate (Experience of SAP is desirable, MS Office Suite required)
20. Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
