General Description:
Under the direction of the Regional Field Manager (RFM) this individual will be responsible for maximizing BeiGene's products in the served territory. The Key Account Manager (KAM) implements the marketing strategy in the area and is responsible for achieving defined sales targets within an agreed expense budget. In addition, the KAM supports and advises the key account customers in the territory in an appreciative, open-minded and honest manner.
Essential Functions of the job:
1. Building a BeiGene image/brand and awareness for our company and our products in the immune-oncology market in the served area
2. Scientific and distribution expert advice and support of hospital pharmacists and medical immune-oncologists in hospitals and PBO´s
3. Responsibility for the regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters, as agreed with the RFM
4. Development, implementation and execution of commercial projects to optimise patient care in collaboration with our key customers: Use and apply in suitable situations the Project Management to cooperate and develop the Key Account Customers of the served area
5. In close collaboration with Market Access, Customer Engagement and other relevant functions, identify, plan and execute projects supporting distribution and implementation of BeiGene’s drugs
6. Organization and execution of local symposia and workshops with the key customers
7. Participation and customer care in local, national and international meetings and symposia
8. Ensure compliance within all activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with our values.
9. Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeiGene´s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
10. Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience, incl. pharmacy and health-economics
11. 5+ years of qualified work experience as commercial representative in the oncology and hospital market or similar positions
12. Expert knowledge and experience with pricing-based differentiation and distribution in hospital markets is desirable
13. Specific knowledge and network in solid tumors, especially with regards to key customers in the relevant indications
14. Knowledge of the distribution structures and distribution channels of drugs, with a special focus on hospitals/hospital pharmacy
15. Strong identification with BeiGene´s values and company mission
16. High social competence and capacity for teamwork
17. Highly motivated, solution oriented and a positive attitude
18. Willingness to learn and continuously develop (on the job, through coaching & training)
19. Demonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment.
20. Demonstrated marketing, project management and digital competencies
21. Success- and service-oriented thinking and working, strong implementation skills
22. English – intermediate level, German – fluent or native speaker
23. Willingness to travel (min. 60% customer facing activities), Valid driver‘s license
Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required (MS Office)
Other Qualifications: Fluency in both verbal and written English and the country language; any other major European language of advantage
