Client Advisor Role Summary Our team puts clients first so we are looking for candidates that share our enthusiasm for delivering a first class client experience through an engaging and proactive sales approach. We are seeking a team-oriented self-starter who displays initiative and a positive attitude, a high level of integrity, drive and the motivation and develop market opportunities. As a salesperson, you will actively engage with established clients and look for new and innovative ways to build our client book. Using our market-leading technology and CRM system, you will create detailed client contact that help our Sales and Investment teams identify new opportunities and bring cutting edge solutions to our clients. Most importantly, we believe in doing ‘first class business in a first class way’. Therefore, you should share our passion for creating an exceptional client experience and managing our business in an ethical and compliant way. Some of the key responsibilities would involve but are not be limited to: Client coverage and prospecting including cold calls of key contacts and potential ETF users in Germany, responding to client inquiries and providing ongoing communication with clients and prospects Develop deep relationships across the client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers, traders, etc. Close collaboration with internal teams (in particular Client Advisors selling mutual funds) and sharing best practices and ideas across teams Scheduling and attending meetings alone but also with local teams´ co-coverage Usage and maintenance of the CRM system Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, road-shows and via telephone/zoom Drive attendance to roadshows and events Leverage a consultative sales approach across channel to drive net new ETF assets Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to help solve complex client challenges Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Existing relationships in the wholesale, independent asset management and saving banks, with capacity to prospect new external relationships Strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, including active and passive strategies Deep background in the ETF landscape with competitor, product, and capital markets familiarity Proven track record of developing key internal and external partnerships with sales teams and individuals Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently Experience developing and executing on a data driven sales business plan within a defined channel or region Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills CFA is a plus
