Vice President Sales (m/w/d) Software Private Equity
Our client, a renowned private equity investor, is looking for a Vice President of Sales (m/w/d) for its Software portfolio company.
As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals
* Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
* Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to the executive team
* Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction
* Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Qualifications:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to think strategically and drive results
* Experience working in a private equity-owned company is a plus
* Willingness to travel
* Fluent in German and English
