Your role The role is responsible for leading strategic marketing plans and implementing omni-channel go-to-market activity to acquire and retain customers’ across the Fleetcor portfolio in Germany and the Netherlands. The role will explore opportunities and strategies to grow Fleetcor market share. With support from the wider Marketing team, this role is responsible for driving strategy and campaign activity, including lead generation and customer retention. What you'll be doing KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Create commercially focused strategic marketing plans for the German and Netherlands markets Progress a clear landscape of the German & Netherlands market, understanding key segments and industries Become the expert in Fleetcor customer acquisition and retention - quickly gaining an understanding of the portfolio, fully appreciating the customer types and ensuring all plans and deliverables reflect our customer needs Devise and manage the marketing retention strategy roadmap, identifying existing pain-points/areas of high churn and implement improvement plans to optimise the customer experience, customer retention and ultimate business performance Identify areas where cross/upsell offerings are appropriate as part of the customer journey Lead on the marketing acquisition plan, aligned to the overall business plan to deliver multi-channel campaign activity focused on generating leads to the Sales function Collaborate with the data team to ensure campaign activity is segmented accurately and data volumes within campaigns are achievable, with performance monitored at every stage of the sales funnel Own all aspects of the campaign process including schedule management and approvals from key internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Automation to identify parts of the customer journey where automation is appropriate – put in place and test new journeys as part of the overall delivery plan Manage external agencies, ensuring briefing is accurate, timely and thorough to continually improve output Work with partners and affiliates on joint promotions, delivering combined marketing acquisition plans QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Proven experience of managing and implementing a successful marketing strategy for a B2B organisation Hands-on with ability to think strategically and deliver tactically, working in a fast-paced business environment Experience of campaign management, from market segmentation through to briefing creative execution, monitoring performance and reporting results Excellent commercial acumen and ability to tie campaign activity to sustainable business growth via customer retention Strong numeracy and analytic skills, being able to implement findings in to future activity Planning and organisational skills – use initiative to manage and prioritise demanding workload Skilled at stakeholder management across all levels of seniority Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal with the aptitude to interact effectively across all levels Collaborative and flexible approach with the ability to positively influence A true team player, able to coach, encourage and learn from a supportive network of peers & colleagues Native German and Dutch speaker Excellent English communications skills (written and spoken) About FLEETCOR FLEETCOR is a global technology organisation that is leading the future of commercial payments with a culture of innovation that drives us to constantly create new and better ways to pay.
