Managing Director, Co-Founder at Clarion Chase
We are exclusively representing a global leader in electronic gases and chemical manufacturing that is seeking to expand its commercial function by hiring a senior and experienced Head of Sales.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to meet company goals and aligning those strategies with the other regions.
You are responsible for developing and managing the yearly/monthly financial volume and sales forecast and helping shape our cross-functional sales and production planning process.
A summary of the highlighted tasks is below:
* Recruit, lead, manage, develop, and train sales and business development team.
* Negotiate and release offers, contracts, orders and credit notes up to defined levels, while managing contractual risk exposure for business unit.
* Represent the company at international industry events and conferences.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners while driving growth.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
* Develop pricing and revenue models.
Required and desired skills and experience:
* Ability to effectively lead, develop and harmonize teams with members of different qualifications and different tasks (e.g. sales and business development)
* Commercial acumen - understanding P&L, setting up capex business cases, evaluating portfolio profitability.
* In-depth understanding of the European and global electronics industry and key customer drivers
* Excellent analytical, numerical, oral & written communication skills in English and German
* IT affinity - Sharepoint, Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBi, PowerAutomate, etc.
* Effective networking skills. Ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers.
