Summary
We are looking for a “Work Preparator (f/m/d)” for the “Naval Production” department at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date.
The “Naval Systems Production” department is responsible for the production and repair of submarine periscopes and optronic systems for national and international customers. Here, complete systems are commissioned in the factory and customer acceptance tests are carried out. The service team integrates the systems worldwide and carries out acceptance tests at the customer's premises.
Your Tasks
1. Planning and collaboration in the implementation of work processes / sequences in production
2. Creation and management of production documents, work plans and parts lists for series devices and repairs as well as documentation in SAP
3. Supporting the development and testing of prototypes as well as the launch of projects / products in production in close cooperation with engineering, design, quality and project management
4. Planning equipment with a focus on optics and mechanics, also with regard to automation
5. Participation in the determination of required production capacities, taking into account production technology and business management findings, and development of proposals for the production-oriented design of components
6. Carrying out target/actual comparisons, calculating production costs and determining alternatives in relation to in-house / external production
7. Collaboration in the definition, development, testing, qualification, release and introduction of new technologies, processes and methods in production
8. Support with technical problems in production (root cause analysis, problem solving)
9. Application of common methods (lean, SPC) and participation in the continuous improvement process
Your Profile
10. Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, optoelectronics or technical vocational training with a further qualification as a technician in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable
11. Sound experience in the assembly and commissioning of optoelectronic devices and systems as well as in measurement technology
12. Experience in work preparation and automation as well as Industry 4.0
13. Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office and CAD
14. Methodological knowledge of lean production and Six Sigma
15. Practical knowledge in the field of optics advantageous
16. Programming knowledge advantageous
17. Independent, structured way of working and the ability to work in a team
18. Integration and assertiveness plus good communication skills
19. Very good German and good English skills
