The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. This includes ESS (Energy Storage System) & non-automotive applications. The ESS organization takes care of the upstream storage value chain. Our responsibility includes research, pre-development of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of ESS components & storages.
How you will CELLebrate
* Driving the development and co-design of the ESS BU's product roadmap based on trends and own innovations
* Staffing, leading and developing the team for mechanical engineering and product data management
* Implementing the specifications of the product development process for the legally compliant development and safeguarding
* Establishing of a professional network to safeguard component properties in accordance with the respective market requirements
* Aligning our sourcing strategy for the component scopes according to the area of responsibility
What you need for our CELLebration
* Completed studies mechanical design or comparable qualification
* Extensive experience in product development processes
* Experience in design of cooling systems
* Experience in product design for production
* Experience in automotive development processes
* Several years of management experience as well as experience in building organizations
* Fluent in German and English
* Willingness to travel
