Summary: Identify, develop and implement a strategy to engage major accounts, which are worthy of a concentrated Industry Segment Sales effort. Responsible for the development of business opportunities/partnerships within targeted client companies within any of the following industry segments: Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Semiconductor, Electronic/ Flat Panel, Medical, Printing, Process Automation Mobile Pneumatics and Food & Packaging, Consumer Products or other Industry Segments.
Key Accountabilities:
6. Meet and maintain specific sales goals within their specific Industry Segment as projected, identified and budgeted, in conjunction with local sales management team and the segment IS Manager.
7. Identify and target potential customers, services and maintain existing customers and improves customer relations in order to increase market penetration and sales turnover.
8. Analyze and identify customer requirements and provides solutions through the application of Festo's products and services.
9. Establish professional customer relationships with appropriate Industry Segment Customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, or other key personnel) and develop new Industry Segment Accounts, also maintain and increase current Industry Segment customer base, therefore, increasing market share and sales turnover.
10. Participate in trade show exhibitions as directed by management by attending to potential and existing customers inquiries in an effort to increase market share and sales turnover. Identify and coordinate local tradeshows and networking events consistent with target regions and subsegments.
11. Work, as directed, on special projects and assignments deemed necessary for the sales and promotion of Festo as assigned by Festo Sales Management.
12. Provides sales forecasts of assigned companies to management, as needed.
13. Establish and implement a strategy, which encourages targeted accounts to become a viable partner for their automation, controls and process needs.
14. Reinforce to all Festo Sales Personnel and Channel Partners the long-term benefits of an OEM/User strategy and how it will enable the company to move forward in growing market share and sales turnover.
15. Compile and assimilate all data pertaining to contractual agreements such as negotiated price, price protection, FOB points, terms, warranties, service contracts, training, late penalties, and inventory commitments to all appropriate Festo Personnel and Channel Partners.
16. Organize professional presentations within targeted client companies and coordinates participation within selected industry exhibitions and conferences.
17. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required

Experience / Education Preferred:
21. AS or BS of technical discipline.
22. Success in business development of accounts with long selling cycle: experience in process automation industry and applications specifically in designated segment is desired.
23. Fluent language skills in English.
24. SAP, Mosaic a plus
25. Knowledge of Festo’s complete product range and systems is desired. Specific knowledge of Festo’s Customer Solutions, PA product valve, and valves/networks important.
26. Specific Segment experience is desired.
27. A working knowledge of fluid power, electronics and electromechanical engineering as well as product scope offered by company.
28. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft products.
