Job Description:
A major semiconductor distributor is seeking a skilled SAP MFS Application Support Team Member to join their dynamic team at a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Bernburg, Germany. This role requires an individual with strong experience in SAP MFS (Material Flow System) and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), along with the ability to support and troubleshoot highly automated logistics systems.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse and material flow systems, ensuring timely and efficient production processes. This position requires onsite presence four days per week and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide application support for SAP MFS and SAP EWM modules, ensuring system availability and optimal performance.
* Monitor and troubleshoot SAP MFS processes, resolving any issues related to material flow and logistics automation.
* Collaborate closely with warehouse operations and IT teams to diagnose and resolve issues affecting the production and warehouse systems.
* Perform system configurations and optimizations to enhance process efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts.
* Participate in root cause analysis and provide solutions for recurring issues within SAP MFS and related systems.
* Work closely with external vendors and SAP consultants to implement system enhancements and updates.
* Assist in system testing, upgrades, and integration efforts related to SAP MFS and EWM.
* Maintain system documentation and provide end-user training as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP MFS and SAP EWM applications.
* Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse automation systems.
* Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing SAP MFS processes in a fast-paced production environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
* Fluency in English required; proficiency in German is a strong plus.
