We are looking for an Analyst Regulatory Reporting to join the Banking & Regulation (B&R) team in the Controlling & Risk Management department of RWE AG as soon as possible. The B&R team is responsible for the RWE Group's regulatory reporting to national and international supervisory authorities. We work very closely with the Group's trading unit, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST), with a direct reporting line to its Head of Risk. RWEST, with its global trading portfolio, is our largest customer.
1. Daily work on regulatory (transaction) reporting requirements (e.g. EMIR, CFTC, REMIT,...)
2. Participation in projects to improve reporting processes and structures
3. You will be the team's internal interface with our Embedded IT and REMIT customers and the product owner for our in-house developed REMIT RRM system - CRS
4. Review and implementation of new EU / US energy regulations regarding transaction reporting
5. Maintenance and development of reporting structures for reporting obligations to national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory authorities for physical and derivative business in various commodities (esp. power, coal, oil, gas, LNG, CO2 certificates)
6. Regular transaction reporting for RWEST to BNetzA and regulators in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Hungary, Poland and other countries
7. Internal communication with front office, back office, legal, IT and representatives of national and international authorities and ministries
8. Documentation of processes and procedures
Your powerful skills
9. You have a degree in Business Informatics / Administration and/or similar work experience as an IT Business Analyst in the energy and/or banking sector
10. You have a good understanding of IT structures (e.g. databases, frameworks) and are able to analyse business processes and translate them into IT requirements
11. You enjoy working with data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) and have programming experience (e.g. Python)
12. You enjoy working internationally and have a good command of German (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken) – minimum level B2 in both languages
13. A proactive, independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work is one of your strengths
14. Team player with good communication skills
Advantageous, but not a must
15. Basic knowledge of financial or physical market regulations
16. Energy specific knowledge (particularly in relation to energy regulation, products & trading)
17. Experience with ETRM systems (e.g. Openlink Endur)
