Job Title: Supply Chain Director
Location: Hamburg, Germany (hybrid working available)
Role Overview:
As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process for our medical devices, ensuring seamless end-to-end operations. You will lead a high-performing team while driving strategies for procurement, production, distribution, and logistics to meet the growing demands of the global healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
* Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
* Oversee demand planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, sales, and regulatory) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving continuous improvements in supply chain performance.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure the efficient management of supply chain risks, including disruptions and delays.
* Ensure alignment with global regulatory standards and work closely with the quality and compliance teams.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
* Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing talent and driving high-performance teams.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
