Due to growth, we are now seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth for the Bakery Division. This is a B2B role focused on establishing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with major food manufacturers and distributors in the bakery sector across Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B food ingredient sales and an in-depth understanding of the bakery industry, coupled with strong strategic sales skills and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Location: Home-based, either in Italy or Germany, with frequent travel across Europe. Key Responsibilities: Sales Growth & Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities with food manufacturers of baked goods, while managing and expanding relationships with existing accounts. Territory Management : Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet sales targets across Europe. Customer Relationships : Act as the main point of contact for key customers and distributors, delivering exceptional service, understanding client needs, and providing tailored yeast solutions. Collaboration : Work closely with the European commercial team and technical specialists to deliver a seamless experience for customers, ensuring technical support and product knowledge are available when needed. Market Insights : Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs within the bakery sector, leveraging insights to inform product development and sales strategies. Reporting : Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to track progress and inform strategic decisions. Qualifications: Educated in Food Science, Business, or a related field. B2B sales experience in the bakery food ingredient industry. Demonstrated success in managing large, complex territories and delivering consistent sales growth. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Proficiency in English; additional European languages are highly desirable. Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
