Winter Semester 2025/26 - limited to 3-6 months
We describe and model production areas and their characteristics in the form of a generic digital data model. Based on this model, a complete material flow simulation can be generated at the push of a button, using the simulation tool AnyLogic. The focus so far has been on accurately representing the logical processes. The goal of this thesis is to extend this simulation with a photorealistic 3D visualization by integrating NVIDIA Omniverse with AnyLogic and extending the data model accordingly.
YOUR TASKS:
* Familiarize yourself with NVIDIA Omniverse and AnyLogic.
* Understand the existing data model and its structure.
* Extend the data model to include visualization aspects.
* Evaluate the Omniverse interface already available for AnyLogic.
* Implement an example extension of the existing data model with a photorealistic 3D representation.
YOUR PROFILE:
* You are studying Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* You are interested in simulation tools and 3D visualization.
* Initial experience with AnyLogic and/or NVIDIA Omniverse is a plus.
* You are creative and work independently.
YOUR APPLICATION:
* We are looking forward to your online application
