What the job involves
* Monitoring and managing all financial processes for their entities (KVG and Fund)
* Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in collaboration with an external tax advisor and fund administrator
* Ensuring compliance with reporting standards (HGB), external audit regulations (including AML requirements), and supporting related audits
* Co-responsibility for overall contract management, invoicing, and receivables management
* Supporting payroll and other HR matters
* Assisting with cash flow planning for the KVG entity
* Ensuring BaFin-compliant documentation of processes
* Serving as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and occasionally investors
* Supporting the project team with acquisitions and sales of shareholdings
* Documenting investment decisions
* Assisting with capital calls and distributions to investors in collaboration with the fund administrator
* Creating analyses and materials for investor reporting in collaboration with the fund administration, including portfolio valuations in line with IPEV valuation guidelines
* Coordinating and supporting ESG reporting
* Supporting compliance matters, including KYC and AML policies
* Supporting with various administrative matters
Who we are looking for
* Several years of relevant professional experience in a finance role within auditing, tax advisory, fund administration, or at a private equity firm or financial investor
* University degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on finance and/or accounting
* Accounting expertise (especially HGB) and a basic understanding of (German) tax regulations
* Strong affinity for numbers and an analytical approach
* Ability to work independently
* Team spirit, reliability, accuracy, and a hands-on mentality
* Willingness for continuous professional development
* High confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
* Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
