Movement is intelligence in action. Aer is redefining human performance, fusing AI-driven diagnostics, biomechanics, and precision recovery to create a system that adapts, optimizes, and refines movement in real time. We are an AI-driven movement intelligence startup building a fully autonomous training system that eliminates inefficiencies, corrects imbalances, and integrates training, diagnostics, and recovery into a seamless experience. We are looking for an experienced UI/UX & Graphic Designer to take ownership of our website, mobile app, and in-device interface for The AerMethod. This is a high-impact role in an early-stage startup where creativity, independence, and problem-solving are critical. If you want to work at the forefront of AI-driven performance technology, this is your opportunity. Tasks Design & build the Aer website from scratch – crafting a high-performance digital presence that reflects our vision. Lead UI/UX design for the Aer mobile app – an AI-powered interface for real-time movement diagnostics and biomechanical insights. Design the in-device UI for The AerMethod – creating screen visuals and system graphics that connect seamlessly with the app. Develop a unified design language – ensuring consistency across web, mobile, and hardware UI. Create sophisticated visual assets – including biomechanical diagrams, data visualizations, and movement analytics illustrations. Collaborate with the engineering team – ensuring designs are implemented with high precision and functionality. Leverage AI-assisted design tools – such as MidJourney and emerging AI platforms to enhance workflow and creativity. Requirements Portfolio required – Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. Proven experience in UI/UX & graphic design – with a strong portfolio showcasing web, mobile, and product UI/UX work. Fluency in design tools – Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, After Effects, and experience with AI-assisted design tools preferred. Experience designing for tech, AI, or data-driven industries – fitness experience is not required, but understanding of complex digital ecosystems is essential. Ability to work independently – This is a startup environment. We need someone who can take ownership of projects without constant oversight. Hybrid role with future on-site transition – Remote work is possible, but the position will transition to on-site in Munich as we establish our headquarters. Benefits Creative freedom & ownership – You own the design process with full creative control. Work directly with founding team – Collaborate with experienced professionals building a first-of-its-kind AI-driven system. High-impact role in an early-stage startup – Shape the future of AI-driven fitness and human performance. Equity compensation – This is an equity-based position until funding is secured, at which point a full salary will be established. A potential pathway to full-time employment – As we continue to scale and raise funding. At Aer, we are building something entirely new, a system that redefines how people train, recover, and perform. This role is not about refining existing ideas; it is about inventing a new design language for a category that does not yet exist. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to create a visual and interactive experience that bridges AI, biomechanics, and human movement. Your work will shape how users engage with real-time diagnostics, adaptive training, and neuromuscular optimization, not just on a screen, but through an intelligent system that actively responds to their bodies. If you are looking for a role where creativity, innovation, and problem-solving drive everything you do, and if you want to be part of a team that is setting a new standard in human performance technology, we want to hear from you.
