We are currently looking for the following position for one of our clients in the Erfurt area: Manager Logistic (m/w/d) Frameworks: Company: Automotive supplier (lithium-ion batteries) Employees: approx. 120.000 employees worldwide Germany: 2000 employees Location: Arnstadt Scope: 40 hours/week Tasks: Overall responsibility for logistics processes: Manage and optimize internal and external logistics processes (goods receipt, storage, material flow, shipping). Team leadership: Lead and develop the on-site logistics team (warehouse, goods receipt, shipping), including training and performance evaluations. Inventory management: Monitor and optimize inventory levels, ensure material availability for production, and ensure timely delivery of finished products. Supplier management: Collaborate with suppliers and carriers, negotiate delivery terms, and ensure a smooth supply chain. Cost optimization: Analyze and continuously improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce logistics costs. Safety and quality management: Ensure compliance and company rules with safety, environmental, and quality regulations in the logistics area. Process optimization and digitization: Implement modern logistics systems and technologies (e.g., ERP optimization, automated warehouse management) to increase efficiency and support the Industry 4.0 company strategy.
