Who will you be joining?
You will be joining the esteemed Group Compliance Team at Allianz, a global leader in financial services with a steadfast commitment to integrity, transparency, and excellence. You will become an integral part of the Strategy and Steering team in Group Compliance dedicated to ensure Allianz remains at the forefront of compliance within the industry. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the Allianz network.
This role involves managing and executing comprehensive MI reporting strategies to ensure compliance across all jurisdictions where the company operates. The Data Analytics and Reporting Officer will support the GC reporting team to oversee daily compliance reporting operations, and translate the GC management's priorities/ideas into actionable plans and detailed presentations. This position is critical in fostering a culture of compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, specifically focusing on compliance risks, namely (but not restricted to) Customer Protection, AML/CTF/Sanctions, and regular reporting activities.
As the Data Analytics and Reporting Officer, you are a key member in our Strategy & Planning team in driving our compliance initiatives by leveraging advanced data analytics to ensure the proper capturing of the necessary compliance KPIs and KRIs from the Allianz business worldwide and the adequate Group Compliance internal reporting and the key information to support management overview and decision.
Your insights will directly contribute to the formulation and enhancement of our compliance strategies, ensuring Allianz remains at the forefront of regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
* Uplift of the reporting standards to capture compliance KPI's and KRI's for Allianz's business entities worldwide
* Develop, maintain, and enhance MI reporting frameworks for compliance risks, focusing on customer protection and AML/CTF
* Work closely to with Group Compliance Units such as Anti Financial Crime, Customer Protection, Corporate Compliance and other units to collect, analyze and interpret data from these internal stakeholders
* Review the inputs provided by business units to assist building comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Definition of the aggregation process of the information from business
* Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize compliance reporting processes, reducing manual interventions and improving efficiency
* Development of function reporting, providing the Group Compliance and other stakeholders with clear, actionable insights
In this senior role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a productive and collaborative environment, driving the company's strategic vision forward based on actionable data, and ensuring the seamless execution of internal and external communication tasks.
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) is preferred
* Master´s degree or Post-Graduation in Information Technology. Analytics or related areas is preferred
* Minimum of 8 years of experience or above in compliance, risk management, or a related field within the insurance or financial services industry
* Deep understanding of insurance processes and internal controls
* Good understanding of all compliance risks, including AML/CTF regulations and customer protection principles
* Strong analytical, research, statistical sampling, and quantitative abilities
* Strong knowledge on data analysis using PowerBI
* Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Reliability and Integrity
* Strong results and delivery orientation.
* Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven track record of strategic planning in a compliance function
* Extensive knowledge of international regulatory requirements and standards applicable to the insurance industry
* Good understanding of regulatory environments and Systems of Governance in insurance business
* Availability to travel
