To further strengthen the sales team in Italy, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join as soon as possible.
Tasks
* Drive sales of high-precision measurement and testing systems to customers in Italy.
* Identify new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships – from initial contact to deal closure.
* Manage the entire sales process independently, from prospecting to contract negotiation and successful completion.
* Analyse market potential and implement targeted sales strategies to expand business opportunities.
* Provide professional leadership and guidance to Sales Engineers, ensuring successful market development.
Requirements
* Strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., Master Craftsman, Technician, or Bachelor’s degree).
* 3–5 years of experience in a technical or sales-related position, ideally in an international setting.
* Proficiency in customer consulting, proposal preparation, and CRM systems, along with MS Office skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with a strong customer focus and service mindset.
* Self-driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to achieve success in a dynamic sales environment.
* Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); German is a plus but not required.
* Willingness to travel within Italy.
