Job Description
IFF N&H Germany GmbH & Co. KG is looking for a EHS/ES&S & Process Safety Manager (m/f/d) for its location in Bomlitz.
Your tasks:
1. Coordination and development of hazardous substance management, considering all elements of chemical law, REACH, CLP, etc.
2. Coordination of the emergency management system for the entire Industrial Park including training and drills
3. Coordination, supervision and documentation/ reporting of the Site Process Safety Management System
4. Leading and documenting Process/ Dust Hazard Analysis (PHA/ DHA), LOPA and HIRA studies in all plants and departments (LOPA – Layer of Protection Analysis, HIRA – Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment)
5. Development, coordination, and control of the implementation of EHS relevant standards and programs
6. Expert advice and active support for plants and departments in the development of their occupational and process safety culture
7. Active networking across the global company's EHS organization
8. Monitoring, tracking and implementation of legal requirements in the areas of hazardous substance management/ chemical law, occupational safety, fire protection, hazard prevention/ emergency management, site security, and process safety.
Job Requirements
Your profile:
9. University degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or comparable education
10. Knowledge and relevant trainings in the areas of hazardous substance management/ chemical law, Process Safety Management, incl. Reactive Chemicals
11. Several years of professional experience in a production environment in the chemical industry
12. Several years of experience in the area of occupational and process safety
13. Certification as “Sicherheitsfachkraft”
14. Ideally, knowledge of emergency/ crisis management and site security
15. Fluent German and English skills
16. First experience in direct or indirect team leadership
