Your new job includes
As a member of our family business, you will manage our Hanover location both operationally and strategically. Your goal is to maximize the company's performance, create a trusting and collaborative corporate culture and exceed your customers' expectations on a daily basis.
In particular, you will
* develop and implement both the retail strategy and the annual business plans based on market developments and the overarching corporate strategy and thus lead your organization to success
* successfully drive initiatives to increase sales and consistently keep an eye on your targets in terms of profit, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction
* represent the company externally and internally and seek proactive dialog and trustful cooperation with internal and external stakeholders such as board members, airport authorities, works councils, suppliers, other airport retailers and your team
* empower all members of your organization through expectation management, clear objectives and a continuous flow of information to use their personal area of responsibility and achieve the goals set
* create added value by driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, taking into account the changing environment
* manage the outlet, which comprises 2 permanent stores with a total of approx. 550 square meters and 1 temporary store with 150 square meters. The team of approx. 40 people is organized in a three-shift model to ensure 24-hour operation
Preferred Profile
* A university degree or comparable education as well as several years of practical and management experience in retail or a comparable environment, including working with management boards, works councils and other stakeholders
* Fluency in German and English
* Confidence, especially in challenging situations, and a clear focus on achieving your goals to ensure the performance of your organization at all times
* Passion for acting as a company representative and representing Heinemann to build consistent relationships with external and internal stakeholders
* An authentic demeanor and a trusting relationship with your employees so that your team can achieve set goals and make decisions independently in their own area of responsibility
* An entrepreneurial mindset, an interest in innovative solutions and the ability to set, communicate and achieve clear goals
