In a fast development environment, we are looking for a new member of our regional controllership team to drive two important topics of the Controllership agenda: lead implementation of internal controls in the sustainability reporting process in the region and support other finance transformation projects with Mars Global Services Finance. The role will report to MW Reginal Financial Controller.

What are we looking for?
1. Background in Controllership and/or Governance
2. Previous experience working on a transformation or change initiative, the development of internal controls systems, and working experience in a corporate environment, in an audit firm or in the consultancy business and knowledge of CSRD and Double Materiality
3. You have the confidence to effectively manage cross-functional complex projects and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Result-orientated and 'hands-on’ mentality to get things done and be ready for pioneer work and agile working mode
5. Strong communication skills
6. Degree-qualified with experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Drive Internal controls in the Sustainability reporting process:
7. Lead the rollout starting with 95 controls for GHG calculation and advance sustainability reporting to promote environmental responsibility for MW region.
8. Expand the scope to include other areas of sustainability reporting, developing respective RCMs to ensure comprehensive and transparent sustainability practices.
9. Lead improvement of internal processes and governance structures for our corporate non-financial reporting; support the setup of internal processes for CSRD-related data and the integration in our non-financial internal control system.
10. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to steer CSRD-related work streams across the business, ensuring a smooth and effective collaboration
11. Assist in the development and maintenance of an auditable ESG data collection and control framework and in collecting, validating, and consolidating ESG data for internal and external reporting.
12. Communicate, train, align, implement, and validate sustainability controls in cooperation with other functions to foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organization
Lead the preparation and implementation of Controllership transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
13. Lead MGSF scoping and transition agenda and contribute to the digital agenda to support innovation and modernization.
14. Support regional teams and business partners in establishing financial processes for managing the European business, ensuring a smooth transition during extensive transformations.
15. Assist the broader Controllership team in driving global and regional programs in areas such as Quality of Accounts, Controls, and Sustainability, ensuring key processes are maintained and adjusted to meet evolving business needs.
