Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As Manager Job Architecture, you play a part in helping to deliver the successful Excellence4People (E4P) HR transformation program enabled by the HCM Cloud implementation and underpinned by a new enterprise Job Architecture (JA) at adidas.
In this role, you will manage and support the Career Framework and track elements in the Job Architecture workstream for E4P. You will develop and support the Talent Career Framework Strategy, focusing on project deliverables, utilizing external best practices and internal needs to create a globally aligned framework, partnering with consultants and key stakeholders to meet future requirements.
Job Architecture comprises levels and spans, titles, grades, and career pathing to support our global workforce. You will assess the future needs and support to apply this to the enterprise through a new Career Framework design and associated components such competency framework and job role profiles, while aligning with the HCM Cloud implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the scoping and planning of the Career Framework and Career Track deliverables of the E4P transformation
2. Ensure requirements for the deliverable are effectively incorporated into the JA project plan and met within timelines
3. Align with relevant stakeholders, including functional teams and business leaders, on dependencies related to Career Framework and Career Tracks.
4. Conduct workshops and collaborate with key stakeholders to validate the enterprise Job Architecture in relation to Career Framework and Career Tracks, ensuring that the design meets the requirements and aligns with organizational goals
5. Manage the definition of career tracks for Job Roles based on overarching skills and competencies. Identification of number of career tracks and required seniority steps per career track
6. Proactively communicate and inform all relevant stakeholders, such as process, functional, technical leads, and project managers, regarding challenges that may impact other areas of the project. Maintain open lines of communication and foster collaborative relationships to facilitate the smooth execution of the project.
7. Participate in quality management reviews to ensure that the Career Framework and Career Tracks, as well as related work products, meet the specified requirements. Identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures to enhance quality.
8. Support mapping of future Job Roles to their respective seniority steps within the Career track
9. Contribute to the definition and description of skills and competencies per level in line with Career Framework and Levelling Framework.
10. Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults in order to seek solutions to a more efficient process
11. Monitor the project variables (effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan to implement corrective or preventative actions.
12. Support in risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks; report and escalate to sponsors as needed
13. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
14. Support in the development of internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments of an organization
15. Ensure compliance to project management standards, e.g. -PM methodology
16. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs; escalate dependency issues and co-create solutions
17. Create transparency across key initiatives within the E4P Transformation (i.e., about project goals, benefits, status quo vs. initial roadmap, resource bottlenecks etc.)

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
40. A degree from an accredited college or university
41. Project management certification or demonstrated project management skills and experience
42. Experience in HR transformation with a focus on Job Architecture with the SAP Success Factors suite of products is a plus
43. Minimum 3-4 years progressive working experience in fast moving goods industry and/or consulting background
44. Track record in project management and change management, preferably on a global scale in the HR space
