Our mission has begun. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and the ramp-up of our global headquarters for global cell production. As the heart of the company, the Operations department assumes overall responsibility for the production process. The division takes over all production-related activities within battery cell production. Our tasks include the planning, construction and introduction of the upcoming battery cell factories. In addition, the planning and implementation of functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management are also key elements in the area of operations.
How you will CELLebrate
* Detailed planning of mass production lines for the battery electrode manufacturing in our giga factories – specifically for dosing and mixing equipment
* Technical preparation for purchasing of equipment, e.g. requirements specification, requests for quotation, assessments on offers and resulting decision papers
* Keep the design and manufacturing process with the supplier on track
* Coordinate the installation and commissioning of the equipment in our facilities around the globe
* Worldwide benchmarking of equipment manufacturers
* Continuous improvement of state-of-the-art processes to optimize product quality, minimize production costs and reduce emissions
What you need for our CELLebration
* Successfully completed (master's) degree in process/chemical/mechanical engineering or similar education
* Several years of experience in equipment manufacturing planning - preferably related to battery cells
* Profound knowledge of material mixing and dosing processes and related production equipment
* Experiences in international projects, resulting into intercultural competence
* National and international travel readiness, including long term foreign assignment
* Business fluent English language skills

* Practical experiences related to battery cell manufacturing and handling of hazardous substances
* German language skills
* High cost awareness, negotiating skills and assertiveness as well as above-average communication skills and ability to work in a team
What to look forward to
