As the Senior Sustainability Manager (m/w/x), you will be instrumental in continuing to shape our approach to these critical issues that are at the core of traceless DNA Your expertise will help us to optimize our measurable environmental, social, and economic value while aligning with global best practices and communicating to all stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive systemic change, lead sustainability processes, and inspire stakeholders both within and outside the company. In this position you will: Shape our sustainability vision : Drive and evolve our long-term sustainability strategy, ensuring it inspires innovation and aligns with global best practices. Lead efforts to embed sustainability into the company’s mission and overall direction. Strategically integrate sustainability : Ensure ESG principles are deeply embedded into our core business processes, creating measurable value across all departments. Lead impact management: Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) to evaluate and enhance our environmental performance. Communicate effectively : Craft compelling narratives to translate sustainability data into actionable insights for stakeholders and customers, reinforcing our brand identity. Foster leadership and collaboration : Strengthen our sustainability-orientated corporate culture even further and drive cooperation in this area both internally and externally. Your working days are mainly spent remotely, but you will also regularly be in an innovative working environment with start-up flair at the ISI Center in Buchholz i.d.N Your profile Education : A degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. Experience : At least 5 years of experience in sustainability strategy or ESG reporting, or environmental impact assessment, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives. Technical Knowledge : Expertise in life cycle assessments (LCA), ESG frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GHG Protocol), and regulatory compliance. Analytical Skills : Strong data analysis capabilities to translate insights into actionable strategies. Leadership : Experience in fostering collaboration, and driving organizational alignment. Communication : Ability to distill complex sustainability concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Languages : Fluency in English and German Why us?
