Today, Fred Perry is a global community of over 370 employees, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it represents PURPOSE: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented coordinator to join our business development team in Munich. Please note, this position is offered on a fixed term basis as a maternity cover. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: BRAND • Under the supervision of the Business Development Manager Germany, ensure all customers have received seasonal assets and have been implemented to the BDM´s and Brand Managers satisfaction • Continuous audit of all consumer touchpoints of the brand with each customer and ensure BDM’s are fully updated as to the quality of these – web, banners, social, visual merchandising. • Liaise with Customer Support team to track delivery schedules, ensuring phasing, monthly drops etc are in sync with both customer and brand expectations. • Close cooperation with the customer support team in relation to our DACH holding order is necessary in order to provide accurate planning. • Digitally active. As Fred Perry is challenged to develop our online footprint (sales and brand), the role requires continual focus on the execution of the BDM’s online objectives. • Independent management of the SMS collection, including setting up and removing the samples in the showroom in Munich, communication with VM for the range plan, communication with marketing and the responsible BDM Manager South Germany. CUSTOMER FOCUS • Maintain customers range plans to a single clear standard, producing overviews as and when required • Maintain any necessary order trackers to ensure customers intake is in line with BDM’s expectations • Attend any business development appointments as requested to build knowledge of our customer relationships, strategies and product selection characteristics. • Liaise with product development team regarding SMU development/CAD’s etc. Complete SMU request forms, and track their progress through the business in line with timeframes set by BDM • Visit Munich stores and report back with regard to the quality of visual merchandising, branding and brand adjacencies on a regular basis • On-line store checking and report back with regard to the quality of presentation, model selection, branding and brand adjacencies ANALYSIS • Receive weekly sell through reports from key customers, review and summarise to BDM´s, identifying opportunities through the best and worst sellers • Work with BDM´s to produce seasonal update of sales performance for each customer, contributing to the regular team and commercial insight meetings • Work closely with the BDM coordinators from Head Office to communicate a standardized language. • Create a monthly trade report for the key accounts and the overall overview of Germany and bring this into a quarterly trade report that you will present to the BDM team. Here, too, you will need to work closely with the BDM Coordinator team from the Head Office to ensure that the report for our Head of BDM - Wholesale is prepared consistently. • Working with the Business Insights team, you will set and agree mid to long terms goals regarding delivery of sales analysis back into the business as follows: • Weekly sell-through data from all key accounts • Sales analysis from all key accounts at the close of the season to enable relevant product development to be maintained and submitted for the commercial input. • Must be able to translate data into objective product feedback where necessary • A keen eye for brand-appropriate product opportunities will result in objective feedback into the brand. THE PERSON: • Is able to demonstrate lateral thinking, working cross-functionally within the business to achieve your goals. • Excellent product and brand knowledge and market awareness • Digitally curious – active online, understanding the reach of each account and relevant influential activity • Analytical mindset • A strong communicator with experience of selling apparel, preferably • Excellent product knowledge and market awareness • Comfortable with regular travel within Germany and to UK necessary • Munich-based HOURS: We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance, and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am to 4.30pm, so employees can choose to start and finish early or start and finish late. (i.e., work 8:00am-4:30pm or 10:00am-6:30pm, etc.). We also have a 30-minute early finish on Fridays. As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts as a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office-based (Munich) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
