Job Title: Director, Sales Operations/Support
The Role: We are seeking a Director, Sales Operations/Support to join our S&P Global Mobility division, reporting directly to the VP, Sales Support. This role is primarily focused on enabling sales representatives and managers to enhance productivity through the automation, streamlining, and enhancement of sales processes, ensuring optimal sales performance. The role holder will collaborate with Mobility team members across various regions to develop and execute best practices aimed at improving sales operations productivity.
Responsibilities and Impact:
* Develop and implement global sales operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
* Support team goals of operational excellence by improving functionality and user adoption in SFDC.com, Tableau CRM, etc.
* Facilitate the annual quota build process and enhance existing processes for the global renewal database.
* Provide regular support to EMEA and other sales teams in forecasting, quota building, and management reporting.
* Engage with EMEA sales leadership to meet the ongoing needs of the sales organization, including attending sales team meetings and ensuring awareness of deliverables, deadlines and results of operational analysis.
* Lead change management initiatives for EMEA sales teams and other regions as necessary.
* Conduct regular reviews of EMEA sales performance, identify trends and action items, and communicate these to global sales leadership.
* Respond promptly to sales and sales operations queries with appropriate follow-up and escalation.
* Collaborate with the Training and Enablement team to identify, implement, and support new sales enablement tools and promote user adoption.
* Support periodic special incentive plans as necessary.
* Build strong internal relationships with key personnel to foster peer support.
Basic Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher and/or equivalent work experience.
* Proven experience in Sales Operations.
* Experience in supporting sales forecasting, quota building, and management reporting.
* Proficiency in SFDC (Salesforce.com).
* Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficiency in all MS Office applications.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
* Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
* Ability to interact professionally and work under limited supervision.
* Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills for processes and procedures.
