Join us at our headquarters in Idstein as Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning & Operations (m/f/x). As part of the Supply Chain Management team, you will manage key topics related to our supply chain. In this dynamic environment, you will professionally coordinate the diverse requirements in the areas of demand, supply, sales & operations planning, and inventory management, as well as supply chain systems. With creativity, strong execution skills, and foresight, you will play a vital role in our collective success.
Your Responsibilities
* Responsible for global demand and supply planning as well as sales and operations planning (S&OP).
* Strategic leadership ensuring that supply chain processes are aligned with company goals.
* In Demand Planning: Developing and implementing a standardized global demand planning process; creating and refining sales targets, forecasts, analyses, and other relevant KPIs; monitoring ordering patterns and sales trends.
* In Supply Planning: Developing and managing a global supply plan; translating demand plans into supply plans; aligning procurement planning with capacity planning to meet delivery schedules.
* In Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Managing the global, cross-functional S&OP process; developing and maintaining metrics and reports to support S&OP; creating and implementing inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels; coaching the team and onboarding new employees.
Your Profile
* Completed studies in finance, accounting, supply chain, or business management.
* At least 8 years of experience in a similar field and 5 years of leadership experience in complex, global teams.
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
* Results-oriented, with the ability and desire to effectively manage and lead projects from start to finish, delivering timely and successful outcomes.
* Strong understanding of financial instruments, practices, and principles.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Knowledge and advanced user experience with SAP, MRP, IBP.
* Advanced skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
* Expertise in evaluation and financial modeling.
* Strong project management and execution skills.
* Solid presentation skills.
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
* Enjoyment of working with numbers and strong technical understanding.
* High level of responsibility, self-driven and structured working style.
* Team player with strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
* Passion for cross-functional collaboration in a multicultural work environment.
