About the role
As a General Ledger Specialist, you'll do more than just crunch numbers. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting our organization's overall financial health. You will be contributing to month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes and provide support during both internal and external audits. It goes without saying that you stay updated on regulatory requirements and implement best practices in accounting. Furthermore you are keen on improving general ledger processes and you proactively participate in updating our financial systems.
About your tasks:
* Accurately preparing and posting journal entries.
* Supporting the preparation of documentation for balance sheet account reconciliation.
* Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
* Ensuring timely reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
About you
You thrive in high-pressure situations and are motivated to meet deadlines, while demonstrating a keen attention to detail.

* Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
* Ensuring timely reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
* You have excellent English skills. Additionally, since many of our colleagues speak German, it would be beneficial if you have good German skills as well.
