In a large local market, this is seen as a key role not only to maintain but more importantly to significantly grow our footprint by offering a broad depth of products ranging from Feed Additives and ingredients to Premix. The role is expected to be based in one our offices in Germany and reports to the Vice President Sales Europe in Switzerland. Responsibility for our Animal Nutrition (technical) sales, including Key Accounts Establish and develop long term customer relationships Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for growth Understand our portfolio of products Create and fulfill own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans Create and execute a 3 5 year Business Plan for the region Monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights; understand the go to market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency Develop customer concepts in cooperation with product management, application, and product development Stay up to date on industry trend analysis, competitive activity, and changing consumer behaviors through industry publications, events, and insights reports to grow the business strategically Support and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies for the region Close interaction with other departments: technical support, customer service/logistics, product management, marketing and controlling Profil Bachelors & Masters degree in Science in Agri, Agro Engineering, Veterinarian or Business educational background Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications a pre At least 10 years of experience in the B2B food, dairy and/or ingredients business Business development spirit Solid negotiation skills Autonomy and organizational skills Ability to work as part of a (virtual) team Enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to work under pressure Strong customer service orientation skills
