Your Tasks
* You independently conduct analytical examinations of food, flavors, and their raw materials, utilizing various analytical methods in gas chromatography (e.g., GC-FID, GC-WLD, GC-MS, GC-GC-MS, HS-GC-FID, HS-GC-MS).
* You are responsible for sample preparation and evaluation of analysis results.
* Internal customers rely on you for the provision of analytical results.
* You actively contribute to ensuring the quality of our raw materials and products.
* Your assistance is needed in the creation of analytical procedures.
* You handle sample registration and data entry into the laboratory management system (LIMS), as well as the maintenance of our LIMS.
* You maintain and service laboratory testing equipment and instruments.
* You support the department in the continuous standardization and optimization of processes, particularly regarding digitalization, quality management, and efficiency.
Your Profile
* You have successfully completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, CTA, or a comparable qualification, ideally with 1–3 years of professional experience.
* Experience with LIMS, gas chromatography software (e.g., Thermo Fisher Scientific Chromeleon, Shimadzu LabSolutions and GCMS Solution, Agilent MassHunter), and proficiency in MS Office applications enhance your profile.
* You have excellent German language skills and preferably good English skills.
* You have a strong affinity for food analysis and enjoy exploring new topics.
* Ideally, you have initial experience in aroma analysis.
