Primary Objective of Position
9. Ensuring that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements and Abbott policies and procedures.
10. Responsible for local month-end close activities including system processes, submissions, accruals.
11. Performing Planning, Reporting and Analysis process for Europe Area and Business Units.
12. Supporting financial IBP and LBE process for Europe Area and Business Units.
13. Ensuring support for cross Division shared service responsibilities.
14. Providing in-depth financial analysis when requested by key stakeholders. Generate and communicate insights and propose solutions and actions based on the analysis conducted.
15. Supporting implementation of process improvements across department and work groups. Assist with training and coaching of more junior finance staff.
16. Participating in various financial projects and provide information to management for decision making.
Requirements
17. Bachelor’s degree in business or finance/ accounting.
18. MBA/CPA/CFA or similar certifications preferred.
19. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance function.
20. Advanced MS Office knowledge. Strong database skills (e.g. Cognos, Access) preferred.
21. Fluent in English, local languages are nice to have.
22. Strong business partner attitude to support the commercial business groups.
23. Strong organizational and management skills.
24. Strong analytical skills.
25. Good communications skills both verbal and written.
26. Customer oriented mindset.
27. Strong team player.
