About this role: Wells Fargo is looking for a seasoned professional in business operations to join our team in Frankfurt. In this role, you will: - Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives. - Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics. - Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables. - Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business. - Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business. - Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management. - Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff. - Facilitate local corporate governance requirements. - ICA management for outsourced services including oversight of the regulatory reporting process via shared services. Branch point of contact for key outsourced services providers. - Represent the Branch in internal working groups and project committees as required (support or facilitate specific business or support function projects on behalf of the Branch, including BCP). - Coordinate and manage third party and internal service level agreements (e.g. act as the Relationship and Engagement Manager for all third party service provider relationships owned by WFBI FB, review outsourcing relationships, ensure that all risk assessment requirements are met, source IRS tax documentation from vendors, arrange execution of ICAs). - Work collaboratively with relevant support groups for the smooth running of the Branch. - Review policies and draft other working documents as needed by the German Branch. - Working closely with the Finance function to oversee the running costs of the Branch and lead cost efficiency and operating model initiatives. Required Qualifications: - Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. - Degree or equivalent level education in business / accounting / legal or related field. - Excellent German and English skills (verbal and written). - Proven experience of working both at a functional level with lines of business and also of communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Significant experience in presenting analysis, findings and/or project information to a range of international stakeholders in a clear and succinct way. - Ability to analyse specifications of both detailed and summary level data. Strong attention to detail. - Ability to understand team dynamics and use interpersonal style to achieve the project goals. - Ability to build and leverage a strong personal network within Wells Fargo. - Highly competent with MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
