As our business continues to expand in the African market, we are seeking a Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will take responsibility for one of our largest accounts, focusing on driving and securing business opportunities with their South African operating companies (OPCOs).
We are looking for a full-time consultant to join our team in Johannesburg, ZA, from March 2025.
Tasks
As Senior Account Manager (m/f/d), you will be the key point of contact for your assigned account, taking ownership of relationship management and business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships and effective communication channels with key client stakeholders on site.
* Identifying and leveraging cross- and up-selling opportunities within client operating companies (OPCOs) to maximize account potential.
* Managing and optimizing the local channel partner landscape to ensure alignment with client objectives.
* Coordinating and aligning the efforts of our broader sales team, ensuring a unified approach is communicated effectively to the client.
Requirements
Your skills and experience are more important to us than any formal qualifications. If you’re a seasoned sales professional with a proven ability to drive long-term, high-volume business growth, this is the opportunity for you!
Specifically, we are looking for someone who is both familiar with typical sales processes in the telecommunications sector or related industries and has the sales acumen (tender processes, RFIs and product demos) to boot.
While we are a German company, knowledge of the German language is not required. However, you should be able to communicate effectively and professionally in English.
