Your role and responsibilities
Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f/d) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role: • You will focus on one of these challenges: seamless integration of novel operating systems, interoperability with legacy code, conformity with functional safety and security standards (such as IEC 61508 and IEC 62443) • You will assess how this challenge can be solved in a particular industrial use case. • You will build and evaluate Rust prototypes or study, structure and address clauses from relevant standards.
Qualifications for the role
* Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
* Strong programming skills in a systems programming language (such as Rust, C, and C++)
* Affinity for embedded systems (through prior work with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, hypervisors etc.) is a plus
* Fluency in English and collaboration through open communication in the team
* Self-sufficient working and customer-/solution-oriented thinking
