Responsibilities:
* Lead internal and external resources in establishing a supply chain risk management system including due diligence on direct and indirect suppliers for GPI’s international business’s mainly in Germany (based on LkSG- German supply chain act) and Europe
* Responsible for working with the organization to identify risks focused on human rights or the environment, managing third party risk by utilizing enterprise procedures and documenting and reporting on progress and compliance
* Perform risk assessments and centralize supplier information to monitor compliance activities.
* Work with and report to the Corporate Compliance office on activities and compliance to align processes with laws in other jurisdictions and global third-party risk management processes
* Develop internal knowledge in this area by learning from GPI’s 3rd party consultants
* Establish and build processes to meet compliance with international directives and internal policies
* Increase GPI knowledge to a level that decreases need for 3rd party consultants
Requirements and technical skills:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Professional or Legal degree is beneficial)
* 3-4 years of experience working in compliance programme within a business
* German and English - full professional proficiency
* Effective stakeholder engagement, management and business partnering
* Strong project management skills
* Quick to learn how to navigate global organizations
* Openness to travel
* Supply chain or compliance or third-party risk management experience is a plus.
