A Snapshot of Your Day:
As the Head of Treasury Technology Infrastructure (f/m/d), you will be responsible for leading the charge in transforming our Treasury technology landscape. This involves integrating existing systems from Siemens Gamesa and reimagining how our overall Treasury function can leverage technology for improved efficiency, risk management, and financial performance across treasury operations including cash management, banking administration, risk management, trade finance, intercompany, payments, and bank reporting processes. You will work at the intersection of Treasury, IT, and business operations, driving initiatives that enhance our technological capabilities and streamline processes. Beyond the transformation project, you will manage the IT team responsible for Treasury technology, providing continuous support and ensuring the infrastructure remains agile and responsive to the evolving needs of the business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Manage a team of Treasury Systems consultants and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence through effective recruiting, staffing, and performance evaluations.
* Drive the integration of Siemens Gamesa’s and Siemens Energy’s Treasury systems ensuring a seamless transition and transformation.
* Lead the configuration, operation, and enhancement of Siemens Energy’s global Treasury systems, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems (SAP) and other critical interfaces.
* Provide functional leadership for data management strategy and treasury reporting strategy along with IT teams for integration and enhancements.
* Represent Treasury as the subject matter expert in system architecture and solutions design, driving enhancement efforts to align with business needs.
* Provide first and second-level project management for various Treasury projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
* Manage relationships with the global Treasury team, accounting teams, internal IT departments, software vendors, and technology counterparts at partner banks.
* Monitor and coordinate the Treasury system operations and service in close collaboration with the SE IT team and external partners.
* Identify and apply new technologies and new features of existing technology that continuously improve business processes and outcomes.
* Partner with IT to design, implement, and roll out strategic plans, ensuring alignment with SE & SGRE treasury teams.
* Mentor and develop team members to build a "best-in-class" Treasury organization with a highly skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic workforce.
* Support compliance reporting, internal control frameworks, and respond to internal and external audit requests as required.
* Provide input into and uphold global Treasury policies, promoting compliance and best practices.
* Collaborate with Financial Accounting to ensure accurate reporting of Treasury positions.
* Administer SWIFT and coordinate with the Swift Service Bureau.
* Monitor and update treasury infrastructure to adhere to country-specific rules and regulations.
What You Bring
* A completed master’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Business/Economics or in mathematical/analytical studies (e.g. computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering).
* 8+ years working in international corporate treasury with 3+ years of leadership experience leading multicultural teams.
* Multicultural sensitivity and innovative thinking with solid analytical skills.
* Experience with Treasury Management systems and applications (i.e.: SAP TRM, FIS Quantum, TIS, bank connectivity channels, BI tools, etc.).
* In-depth knowledge of treasury areas such as Cash Management, FX Hedging, Debt/Investments, In-House Banking & Intercompany Settlements, Connectivity (API, SWIFT, etc.).
* Proven track record in the design and implementation of Treasury systems and applications.
* A demonstrated affinity for tackling challenging and complex projects head-on and delivering business value to your customers.
* Advanced problem-solving skills; successfully led cross-functional projects and are able to quickly grasp new ideas.
* Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions, and regions; able to communicate complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
* Strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position.
* Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
* Business fluent in English.
