PTC is looking for an ambitious Germany-based EMEIACAD Regional Director of Sales to lead the sales of PTC’s industry leading Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and continue our track record of double-digit growth.
The right candidate will be responsible for building and leading a world-class sales team, developing talent, implementing sales processes, building strong relationships with customers and cross-functional leaders, partnering with the field selling ecosystem, product management, marketing, inside sales, and other functional organizations to creatively drive new ACV bookings within EMEIA while maintaining strong customer retention.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive CAD sales strategy aligned with company goals and objectives to drive double digit revenue growth and market expansion.
* Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of CAD sales professionals, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to achieve individual and team targets.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
* Drive New ACV Growth and pipeline creation according to plan and manage all KPIs (i.e. New ACV, New bookings by driver, churn, etc.) according to an established management operating rhythm.
* Enable sales team with constant training, mastering the Customer Conversation Skills, MEDDICC, consultative selling, and other techniques to build the team's product knowledge, sales techniques, and overall effectiveness.
* Manage and allocate regional sales budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
* Properly coach and inspect sales reps on key opportunities while maintaining strategies for growing pipeline coverage across various geographies and distributions.
* Conduct weekly forecast reviews to track and drive maturation of existing opportunities and educate sales leadership on changes and risks to the overall business environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Immense CAD Sales experience and credibility with demonstrable leadership skills to inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Understanding of the highly technical, nuanced CAD industry core solutions, main competitors, and disruptive/emerging technologies and how to compete.
* Strong EQ (emotional), IQ, and excellent communication, deal strategy, positioning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to drive data-based decision-making.
* Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and cultivate successful customer relationships, both external and internal.
* Proficiency in using SalesForce CRM, Qlik analytics tools, PowerBI, Clari, and mastery of standard Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
* Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
* Creative, collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively across various territories and regions in EMEA.
Experience / Min Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive sales roles, with CAD sales and/or leadership highly preferred.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding annual sales targets and objectives with demonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales team.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* The role will be based in Munich or Stuttgart, but travel to regional offices and customer sites within EMEIA will be required. In addition, infrequent travel to the US may be required.
* Flexibility of hours may be required due to highly variable time zones required for collaboration.
