For Supply Chain Operations we focus on our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution Processes (S&OE) to increase revenue and market share by improving effectiveness of our organisation, whilst increasing our customer service and satisfaction.
In this role you will be tasked with overseeing international projects of medium to large scale and complexity, often leading a substantial team.
What is your role?
You will craft the project vision and planning documents, as well as execute, report, and evaluate performance of the project as a whole. The ultimate goal is to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budgetary constraints, and alignment with predefined scope parameters.
You will work with colleagues from all levels and locations in the organisation, guiding them towards successful completion of the project, on time and within budget.
You will:
1. Lead an international project team, and identify areas for team improvement through training and mentoring.
2. Conduct assurance reviews within the project, facilitate reviews by third parties, and resolve identified issues.
3. Produce project plans, ensuring all activities align with project objectives and comply with the organization's project management framework.
4. Draft review reports and presentations with key information and recommendations to facilitate stakeholder evaluation of progress and change agreement.
5. Identify and evaluate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and implement solutions.
6. Implement policies, collect best practices, write case studies, and deliver internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
7. Manage research, workshops, and activities to specify and agree on project deliverables.
8. Plan and execute stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project relationships and address stakeholder needs and concerns.
9. Support change initiatives by analysing progress, guided by a project/program manager.
Who are you?
For this job we have a couple of requirements:
10. Completed Masters Degree and at least 5’ years of experience in a similar role.
11. Solid understanding of procurement, supply chain, fulfilment and logistical processes.
12. Experience in complex (operations) projects.
13. Experience in construction, fit-outs & ramp-ups of new/existing warehouse and office facilities.
14. Feeling comfortable in working in an international environment.
15. Experience with large CAPEX intensive projects.
16. Excellent communication skills, analytical, conceptually strong and organizational Savvy.
17. Willingness to travel (in Europe).
