Solution Architect (f/m/d) for On-& Offshore HVDC Solutions

As a HVDC Solution Architect, you are a key figure in our organization defining the technical strategy and solution for HVDC On-and Offshore projects globally. You are responsible for clarifying and understanding technical content with contractual implications, coordinating the Solution Architect activities, minimizing risk exposure, contributing to the potential for success in tenders and projects, while ensuring the most beneficial solution for all stakeholders and maintaining a good relationship with the customer. The Solution Architect will support a positive project team spirit around common goals and achievements. By communicating in a very clear, open, and proactive way, you are encouraging others to do the same.
How You'll Make an Impact
1. Lead national and international technical offer team resources across the organization.
2. Collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Establish a foundation for the tailored solution proposal in accordance with customer requirements and business cases.
4. Develop a functional technical solution for the specific tender project in collaboration with the engineering team, taking into account reference solution modules.
5. Manage the entire technical scope and oversee interface coordination across all technical disciplines including platform partners from an overall tender perspective.
6. Provide guidance to the Sales Manager in the pre-acquisition phase by setting up the technical solution in line with our development roadmaps.
7. Active engagement in international committees.
What You Bring
1. Completed university degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
2. Extensive experience in HVDC technology solutions as well as interdisciplinary competence in the international HVDC business.
3. Advanced knowledge and experience in project management and contract management.
4. Advanced experience in leading international standardization and opinion forming.
5. Strong analytical and communication skills for understanding customer needs, providing value-added inputs, and excelling in multicultural environments with a strategic approach.
6. Proficient in HVDC technology project negotiations, interface management for offshore solutions, teamwork, customer orientation, and leadership abilities.
7. Excellent verbal and written skills in English; knowledge of German is preferred.
