About the role We are looking for a Director Corporate Audit (m/f/d) to join our team and lead our corporate audit function In this position, you will report directly to the Management Board, providing critical insights and updates on audit activities As a leader, you will work closely with international colleagues, shaping and implementing audit strategies, guidelines, and principles What you will do You build and manage a corporate audit team, coordinating with other departments such as Compliance, Central Risk Management, Legal and Data Protection You define the audit strategy, guidelines and principles and create the audit charter and the audit manual You plan audits and submit the annual audit program to the Executive Board for approval You manage and monitor audit execution, consulting services and internal projects with a focus on process risks and ICS implementation and approve audit reports You manage and oversee the implementation of action plans from audited units and take care of the necessary reporting and communication You participate in ongoing risk assessments, plan and manage the budget and monitor the quality management process What you’ll need to succeed Degree in economics or law or a related field Professional experience in internal auditing or at an auditing company, including experience in a management position Business management and ideally legal or tax knowledge Strategic, analytical and structured thinking and experience in building cross-organizational networks Team-focused and cooperative with strong communication skills, confidence and initiative High quality and cost awareness as well as assertiveness and negotiating skills Business fluency in German and English What’s in it for you?
