Responsibilities / Tasks
This function refers to the creation of HR comprehensive solutions for the business considering 3 components: HR processes, services, and the underlining technology. The role is involved in managing and designing complex HR Transformation programs for the HR organization, using the best-in-class transformation methodologies and frameworks. The solutions should encompass the end customers user experience, ensure efficient and seamless upstream and downstream data flows, take care of all cross functional dependencies, and be fitted to the operating model of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand and translate customer needs into implementable business solutions to enable long-term success
2. Understand the HR strategy and operating model and adapt all solutions designed on the levels of the business process, service, and technology
3. Adapt processes and solutions to GEA reality and develop relevant business scenarios
4. Have a holistic view of HR landscape processes and services
5. Use the appropriate solution design methodologies to explore the as-is context and practices, gather and discuss the business needs, and develop the to-be HR processes, solutions, and services
6. Consult the HR leadership and project teams in evaluating the projects business value and target setting (to evaluate success) proposed timeline and choose the right approach
7. Collect and structure business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
8. Design new HR business processes and services based on customer requirements and best-in-class solutions
9. Consult the business on best practices (process and service best practices)
10. Facilitate and incorporate into the design phases the compliance and legal evaluation and sign-off of the solutions (involve the Labor Law experts, Procurement and Finance functions when needed; support the legal assessments).
11. Harmonize and optimize HR business processes to enable the business to be more efficient (focus on cost-effective, standard, user-friendly and customer centric products, processes and services).
12. Design and implement Global HR Processes and localizing them when needed, standardizing and implementing new services within HR focusing on Customer Experience
13. Migrate/Transition new processes at global level and to the operational teams in the Berlin or Kuala Lumpur HR Operations Centers
14. Take ownership of the processes, prepare and align the design with all stakeholders, define the business requirements and ensure all technologies are implemented as designed. Support formal solution sign-off (from business and HR Operations)
15. Create all process documentation materials (E.g., processes and sub-processes maps, detail the sub-process activities, roles and responsibilities, supporting documents etc.)
16. Create business test case scenarios and provide support during the business testing phase (understand the completeness of the solution deployed for the business)
17. Support the knowledge sharing and enablement sessions with relevant methodologies and documentation (gap analysis, enablement presentations, solution summaries etc.)
Your Profile / Qualifications
END-TO-END SOLUTION DESIGN EXPERT EXPERIENCE
18. Design of HR Processes with strong focus on customer experience, standardization, and digitalization for a variety of technologies (Workday, ServiceNow, DocuSign, SuccessFactors, Oracle etc.) (minimum 4 years of experience)
19. Design and roll-out various HR technologies/solutions at global level, including definition of business requirements and User Acceptance Testing
20. Experience in HR Digital Transformation Projects and familiarity with digital transformation methodologies, tools and best practices
21. Preferred experience in a Shared Service Center Organization and fast-paced digital transformation working environments
22. Understand the Shared Service Center delivery and operational models
23. End-to-End process and solutions design preferably for HR in Shared Services Operating Model
24. Relevant Studies: University Degree and/or master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Consulting and HR Information Systems, or similar
Skills:
25. Process Design methodologies and discipline
26. Process design and mining tools: Signavio, Visio or similar
27. Process Mining Tools (measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes proposed vs. the existing ones)
28. Multiple stakeholder management during design sessions
29. Main HRIS best practices - Workday Best Practices is a nice to have
