GENERAL SUMMARY Reporting to the Director, Sales DACH the position will work closely with the Internal Sales team and Technical Sales team to drive the overall Company Business Strategy. Develops and executes Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at Key customers within region. This role will ideally be located within 100 km from the Munich office. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Manages customer activities within the defined region, works in conjunction with the Technical & Product Solutions Manager and Internal Sales Representatives to introduce the Rochester Electronics product to customers, and to increase the customer portfolio in accordance with agreed business development plan. Identifies target customers, build relationships and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within specified region. Lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, business presentations. Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities, and revenue for the region Ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis. Provides effective communication and service to the customer base, and effectively navigate internally to priorities on active business opportunities. Travel within the assigned region will be expected at min. 50% OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties as assigned. PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES BA or BS Degree of Electronics related subjects would be advantage Proven business development, sales & management experience in the electronic component/ semiconductor industry Experience developing a large territory whilst working from a virtual office Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externally Fluent in German and English language is essential, any additional languages would be advantageous Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage business partners & suppliers successfully Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing complex deals with customers & partners Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently Ability to problem solve by identifying the root cause and realizing/implementing solutions Ability to maintain focus with little or no supervision Passionate about business and willing to go the extra mile Positive attitude with ability to engage and learn quickly Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advance level required) OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must hold a full current driving license Must be able and willing to travel (50 to 60% of travel)
