Activities
* Carrying out assembly or rework work and, if possible, independent fault diagnosis
* Carrying out disassembly/assembly work on trains (as part of regular inspections, accident repairs, modernizations, and modifications)
* In the event of a warranty claim: Independent clarification of the causes of damage and determination of the scope of repairs
* Carrying out maintenance work
* Implementing technical modifications
* Replacing parts and modules and making corrective adjustments based on key figures
* Carrying out acceptance tests after modifications
* Explaining the functionality of technical systems to the train operator/customer
Qualifications
* Completed training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics, or comparable training
* Several years of experience in a metalworking field, ideally knowledge of the railway industry
* Good knowledge of German and English or the willingness to expand your language skills
* Good PC skills (MS Office, Maximo/SAP) as well as knowledge of computer-aided control and diagnostic systems on rail vehicles (MITRAC tools)
* Independent work in a team-oriented environment
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Willingness to work shifts and weekends
