Responsibilities
Main responsibilities
The main responsibility will be to sell the Payment & Cash Management Services to Societe Generale’s Key clients.
The candidate will farm an existing portfolio and hunt new clients that will bring significant NBI, transaction flows and deposits. This will require a strong coordination with Coverage Bankers in Germany and overseas, as well as colleagues from other business lines.
He/she will also be requested to actively cross-sell with PCM international network and all other business lines within the organisation, notably Trade Finance and Factoring.
1. Sell Payments & Cash Management products and services:
2. Bank accounts and Virtual Account Structures
3. Domestic and international means of payment
4. Electronic Banking Channels
5. Liquidity Management solutions (Zero Balancing and notional pooling)
6. Domestic and International guarantees
7. Credit Facilities attached to these products (Overdraft, Guarantees)
8. Short Term Revolving Credit Facilities
9. FOREX Solutions
10. Be the key sponsor of client Cash Management proposal creation and responses to domestic and international Request for Proposals (RFP)
11. Liaise closely with Client Service Teams to ensure successful on-boarding/ implementation and/or addition of new products and services. The candidate is expected to be a strong team player.
12. Monitor and update deals in CRM tool to ensure perfect communication with all stakeholders.
13. Monitor required credit facilities (Overdrafts, Guarantees)
14. Launch Credit Applications, align with Credit & Risk Colleagues
15. Comply with risk, regulatory and compliance obligations at all times
Profile required
Experience and technical skills
16. University degree in economics, finance or business administration, or a bank apprenticeship with advanced training
17. Payments & Cash Management experience is required
18. Mix of Relationship manager and pure sales capabilities (Deal hunter)
19. Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment
20. Expertise in payment systems domestic & international
21. Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint Word)
22. Domestic guarantees & short-term credit facilities

24. Excellent communication and writing skills for pitching, being fluent in German and English (French is beneficial)
