Investment Manager – Private Equity (Carve-Outs)

Role Overview
The Investment Manager will play a key role in executing and managing private equity investments, with a focus on corporate carve-outs. This individual will be responsible for leading transaction execution, managing portfolio assets, and driving value creation in partnership with management teams. The role offers a high degree of responsibility and exposure to strategic decision-making across the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Deal Sourcing & Origination: Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, with a particular focus on corporate carve-outs and complex transactions.
* Transaction Execution: Lead due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing of transactions, working closely with legal, financial, and operational teams.
* Financial Analysis & Valuation: Develop and review financial models, conduct DCF and LBO analysis, and assess key investment risks and return drivers.
* Strategic & Operational Value Creation: Partner with portfolio company management teams to implement operational improvements, drive growth strategies, and execute value-enhancing initiatives.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporate sellers, investment banks, advisors, and portfolio company executives.
* Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Tracking: Oversee financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for further value creation.
* Exit Strategy Development: Contribute to exit planning and execution, including trade sales, secondary buyouts, or IPOs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
* Experience: 5-8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A), or strategy consulting with exposure to carve-outs or complex transactions.
* Financial & Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
* Deal Execution Experience: Proven track record of leading investment processes from origination to completion.
* Operational Expertise: Understanding of post-acquisition value creation and corporate carve-out dynamics.
* Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and investment committees.
* Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to navigate complex situations and execute transactions in dynamic environments.
