WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
We are searching for a Head of HR (m/f/d) for a newly established company (totally approx. 100 employees) partially owned by Panasonic. This new company has its headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany with branches being established in many European countries and also having an office in Dubai.
The Head of HR (m/f/d) will be based in Wiesbaden and be responsible for European and Middle East operations. Will define strategy and guidelines with close cooperation with HQ in Japan and implement Human Resources strategy based on headquarter strategy policies that are in line with respective local legal requirements across Europe. Furthermore, this position involves the following tasks:
* You develop and implement the human resources strategy, defining corresponding guidelines and principles.
* In collaboration with management, you create HR KPIs, budgets, and resource allocation while managing HR operations across all offices.
* You oversee HR activities, including organizational design, recruitment, talent management, training, compensation, employee relations, and reporting on headcount and labor costs.
* You support employee training, development, and performance management, ensuring employee satisfaction and qualifications.
* You advise senior management on personnel matters, communicate with the head office in Japan, negotiate with works councils, and represent the company in legal and arbitration proceedings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* You hold a university degree in economics with a focus on HR and have relevant experience, ideally as Head of HR.
* Excellent English language skills are required, with German proficiency being an advantage.
* You possess a strong understanding of HR, industry, and business in general.
* You have solid experience working effectively with management and managing complex, strategic projects.
* You have a logical mindset, a strong grasp of clear processes, and work independently and precisely.
