Job Title: Production Planner (m/w/d) Location: Germany - Multiple Plant Locations Company Overview: A leading industrial manufacturer operating across multiple sites in Germany, specialising in precision production and high-quality solutions for industries such as automotive, rail, aerospace, and construction. Role Overview: As a Production Planner, you will take ownership of short- and medium-term production planning, ensuring alignment with customer demands, delivery timelines, and inventory targets. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to digitalisation initiatives, and continuously optimise the production planning process within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage short-term (detailed scheduling) and medium-term (master planning) production planning for designated production areas Align customer demands with master plans, monitoring and addressing fluctuations in real time Collaborate with production teams to ensure effective capacity and resource planning based on input from sales and customer service Maintain accurate production order control and ensure high-quality movement data within the ERP system Determine material and packaging requirements, working closely with procurement and following product-specific regulations Coordinate with subcontractors as integrated partners in the value chain Communicate daily with production, procurement, shipping, customer service, and external stakeholders to resolve issues proactively Review and maintain planning parameters and master data in the ERP system, including lead times, batch sizes, bills of materials, and routings Participate in and potentially lead digitalisation and optimisation projects across locations Qualifications: Completed apprenticeship as an industrial clerk with additional qualifications, or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration with a logistics focus Several years of experience in production planning and/or logistics Industry experience in aluminum, automotive, rail, construction, or aerospace preferred Strong technical and business process understanding High level of commitment, resilience, and adaptability Excellent communication skills Proficient in ERP systems (ideally ProAlpha) and experienced with MS Office, especially Excel and Word Fluent in German; English skills are an advantage If you are interested in the Production Planner role based across our German plant locations, please don't hesitate to apply.
