Our client is a leading provider of smart manufacturing solutions, specializing in designing and integrating intelligent production lines and equipment. They offer end-to-end services, including planning, R&D, design, assembly, and support. Their primary focus is the automotive industry, working with both new energy and traditional fuel vehicles.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and coordinate local and regional sales efforts within the automotive powertrain and assembly automation industry. This role combines technical expertise, market development, and customer relationship management to drive growth and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven sales leadership skills, and the ability to develop successful strategies for market expansion.
Responsibilities
1. Directing and coordinating all local technical and commercial sales activities.
2. Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and potential new customers.
3. Serving as the face of the organization to customers and internal and external partners.
4. Support and follow up customer projects daily together with the responsible project and business managers from headquarters.
5. Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding products and/or services.
6. Provide customer, competitor, and market information to help define prices and discounts for quotations and price negotiations.
7. Provide relevant customer and market data and information to decision-makers to drive performance and ensure proper resource allocation.
8. Preparing, executing, and tracking local sales plans, budgets, projections, business plans, and target achievements.
9. Overseeing local and regional sales, market development, and technical trends.
10. Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications

7. Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns in the European market.
8. Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
9. Profound English skills, additional European language preferred (German and/or French).
10. Strong intercultural skills and experience working with mixed and Chinese teams.
